We provide a collection and clearance service to businesses and the general public across the central belt of Scotland.
Numerous Construction / Building Companies, Civil Engineers, tradesmen as well as the general public have used our services - to the extent that we have diverted over 1400 tonnes from landfill in our first 2 years in operation.
We are able to collect a wide range of materials, either new or used, that are otherwise surplus / unwanted but still fit for ReUse, for example:
Bricks; Blocks; Slabs; Paving; Roof tiles; Slates; Tiles; Pallets; Kerb stones, Fencing slats & posts; Timber doors; Piping; Plumbing and Drainage materials; Electrical fittings; Office Furniture; Insulation; Kingspan; Textiles; Clothes; Books.
Materials that we are unable to collect are:
Any of the above that are not able to be reused or repaired, Soils, Hazardous or Chemical materials.
We are able to carry out one off collections or scheduled daily / weekly / monthly collections - whatever suits your needs best.
To begin using our service, simply contact us, letting us know what materials you would like us to pick up - we'll then be able to give you a price to pick up the materials and arrange a specific date / time for collection.
The collection price will be based on the type of materials; quantity & distance.
We are able to collect materials from right across the central belt of Scotland, using our range of vehicles, shown below.
Materials are taken back to our yard where they are segregated and sorted.
From the materials that we collect we aim to find a ReUse for at least 80% with the remaining materials being Recycled.
Materials are then sold back to the community - builders, tradesmen as well as the general public for DIY projects - with any and all proceeds being reinvested in Yooz and profits passed to the charity Active4All.
Upon collection, we will produce a Waste Transfer / Duty of Care Note - with a note of the materials collected. We report on the tonnages and materials collected and are able to produce weekly / monthly / quarterly summaries of waste picked up from your site.
